ABOUT JOULES YARD

This delightfully eccentric and unique venue is a long established jewel (or Joule) on the East Midlands live music scene, hugely popular with both audiences and musicians alike. With top quality music, excellent and inexpensive food, and a very relaxing atmosphere, there is nowhere quite like Joules in the summer months, when, on a sunny day, one can bask at one of the outside tables and almost think oneself in the Mediterranean.

Sadly, early in 2017 it became clear that Joules was no  longer viable as a regular music venue and our planned summer season had to be cancelled. However, the popular 3rd Thursday Harborough Acoustic Sessions are continuing and we will still bring you occasional weekend music events, details of which will be posted as they are booked.

Our next weekend event will be a SUNDAY SESSION on 13th August, featuring three of the area's finest singer-songwriters, STEVIE JONES, ANDY GRIFFITHS and RUTHIE COLES, plus of course resident BOB RENWICK. Free admission with doors from 11am and music from noon till 3pm. Food and bar.

HARBOROUGH ACOUSTIC SESSIONS

Now in its 18th year, the monthly Joules open mic night is generally recognised as one of the best in the region. Running every 3rd Thursday and starting at 8pm, all musicians are very welcome to take part, and if you’d like further details please contact organiser Steve Rothero at s.rothero@ntlworld.com.
