Kontra has been promoting regular top class acoustic roots "Potbelly" events at this fabulous venue in the heart of Kettering since 2013. We have featured a wide range of brilliant acts from the folk and roots world: a mix of familiar, established names, rising stars, and with all kinds of styles and genres included, traditional and contemporary.

Unfortunately, due to increasingly challenging economic circumstances and declining audiences for our smaller concerts, from 2018 onwards we will be promoting far fewer such events in order to focus primarily on bigger name acts.

We're currently looking into the possiblity of booking such well-known names as Billy Bragg, Ralph McTell and Martin Carthy, for dates either later in 2018 or 2019, and will be posting details of such concerts when they are confirmed.
