ABOUT
The band emerged through a series of happy accidents during the 20-21 pandemic, when online music making and sharing brought together five veteran Northants based musicians from widely varying folk roots traditions and suggested they were a combination that would work extremely well in a live setting. With that in mind, the band began rehearsals in May 2021, since when their early promise has been more than realised. With four lead vocalists, multi-instrumentals and a repertoire that is enthusiastically multi-genre, the band features Kev Buxton (vocal, guitars, harmonica), Adam de Santis (vocal, guitars), Robin Hillman (vocal, fiddle, mandolins), Bob Fisher (vocal, bass, concertinas) and Dace Fisher (cajon & rub-board).
Recorded and produced by Mark Hutchinson, the band's debut EP, Rant 1, was released as a digital download in April 2023 and is available on Bandcamp) An expanded full length CD will be released in 2024.
